Sketch. Mockup. Paint.
Three stages, drawn here the way they happen on a wall. The drawings show the process, not past jobs.
Sketch
We meet at the wall and talk about what it is for and who walks past it. Then we draw. A few rough ideas on paper first, then one we both like, drawn clean.
On the wall itself, this stage is a grid of chalk lines and the big shapes blocked in with a pencil. Nothing is painted yet, so anything can still move.
Mockup
We take a photo of your wall and put the design on it, at the right size, with the real door, windows and downspout in the way. You see the mural on your building before anyone opens a can.
Colors get picked here, next to the trim and siding colors from the rest of the estimate, so the whole place agrees.
Paint
The wall is washed, patched and primed like any other. Then the big shapes go in first, then the mid tones, then the lines and details. Exterior walls get a clear coat against sun and snow.
You walk it with us at the end. The same crew is already there for the rest of the building, so the mural wall and the painted wall next to it get finished together.
